Hoboken Proposed Law for e-Bike Delivery Workers
A proposed law by Hoboken will burden delivery workers by requiring them to register with the city and wear a bib number for identification.
The ordinance will be introduced on Wednesday at 7pm at Hoboken City Hall. We encourage people to attend and voice their concerns about this short-sighted law that doesn't get to the heart of the issue: lack of safe street infrastructure for delivery workers on bicycles and unjust work conditions pushed by food app delivery companies.
NJ TRANSIT Public Hearings on Proposed Fare Raise
NJ TRANSIT met overwhelming backlash when they announced a 15% proposed fare hike.
There will be several public hearings throughout the month of March and we expect many advocates to attend these and emphasize that the state can repurpose the funds from the New Jersey Turnpike Expansion projects into funding NJ TRANSIT, expanding transit and providing more service.
