New Campaign! New Event! It's Transit Season in Hudson County

"Check out our newest campaign" and then we see the logo for the campaign, "Better Light Rail" with the Hudson County Complete Streets logo as well.

Dear Friend,

After a snowy start to 2026, we’re kicking into campaign season with the launch of a new campaign, a new event, and a whole lot to look forward to regarding transit.

The Newest HudCoStreets Campaign: Better Light Rail

We’re thrilled to kick off our newest campaign, Better Light Rail. We’ve just launched our petition, which we ask you to go sign on Action Network today!

Last year’s successful PATH campaign showed that petitions work, so we’re working to connect Hudson, Bergen and Essex counties by light rail!

We’ll let you know when we begin canvassing!

Get Your Ticket to TRANSIT FORUM

This is a flyer for an event we're hosting on April 25th, at Saint Peter's University in Jersey City, NJ. It says "Let's Connect at the North Jersey Transit Forum." It shows a bus, a bridge, the statue of liberty, a cyclist, and a couple pushing a baby carriage.

We’ve already told you before, and we’ll be sure to tell you again, we’re hosting the North Jersey Transit Forum this April 25th. Get your early-bird discount before March 1st

We have a very exciting list of speakers, panelists, and it’s a great chance to get connected directly with the decision-makers affecting our daily lives. Want to learn more about the event? Check out the event website, it’ll tell you everything you need to know.

Continued PATH Canvassing

This image shows four campaign members canvassing at the Grove St station for better PATH service.

We’re back at PATH canvassing, because there’s still work to do on PATH. Just because we secured the promise from the Port Authority of “Every Line Every Day,” that doesn’t mean the campaign has run out of tasks to tackle.

We’re busy securing the best possible deal for PATH riders with new capital plan projects, preserving the EWR extension, and seeking out increased rider comforts wherever possible.

Haven’t signed that petition? Please do!

Wishing you all a good day.
