HCCS December Edition: Boulevard East Next Steps

Hello, neighbor!

Thank you for being with us throughout the year! As we wind down for the holidays, we have one last action item for the community to take part in.

Take Action

Deadline to Submit Boulevard East Comments - December 15

If you missed the public meeting from November 30th, there are recorded sessions available at hudsoncountysafetyimprovements.

Unfortunately, the new plans for Boulevard East are everything we feared it would be. For next steps to take:

  • Submit public comments here by December 15.
  • We have prepared talking points to use in your public comments.

Around the Hudson

  • Boulevard East was a hot topic! Read or watch news coverage from these sources:

    - NJ Spotlight - Jersey Journal Editorial - Jersey Journal Article

  • The City of Hoboken will be hosting a community meeting on the Sinatra Drive Redesign on December 13th. Find the details here.
  • Leaders from several local Bike Groups in Jersey City and Hoboken have been officially certified as League Cycling Instructors (LCIs)! Cheers to Tom, Ayla, Tony and Domenic!

Get Involved

  • We have local advocacy groups in several cities across Hudson County. Reach out to them to get involved! Or are you looking to start one in your town? Let us know how we can help!
  • Read up on our three live campaigns and sign the petitions.

    - Boulevard East - 14th St. Viaduct - Turnpike Trap

  • Join our Slack Workspace.

End of Year FUNdraising

  • Motorists and Motorcyclists
